YWeBuild

Construction trades for girls in middle school.

YWeBuild Program

Our program offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers a wide range of topics related to the construction trades industry. Students will have the opportunity to learn about zoning regulations, interior design principles, architectural drafting, project management, and more, allowing them to explore their interests and discover potential career pathways.

YWeBuild places an emphasis on learning and skill-building. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities that will enhance technical skills but also foster creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork among participants.

YWCA Bethlehem’s YWeBuild Construction Trades Program is an innovative initiative designed to introduce young girls in grades 6-8 to the dynamic world of construction trades. With a focus on promoting diversity and inclusion in traditionally male-dominated industries, this program provides participants with hands-on exposure to every aspect of the construction process, from initial planning and bidding to the final build stages.
