Veronica Moore

A native of Chicago, IL Veronica H. Moore is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a profound passion for enhancing educational experiences within diverse settings. She brings nearly twenty years of expertise in higher education leadership, program creation and evaluation, and non-profit board management and development. 
Her diverse professional experiences span roles that include facilitating holistic development opportunities within organizations and advising on leadership, risk management, and strategic planning and effective implementation 
Veronica's commitment to education extends to facilitating workshops and coaching programs for diverse audiences in both the for profit and non-profit sector. With a focus on community building, leadership development, and diversity, equity, belonging and inclusion awareness, Veronica’s facilitation roles exemplify her dedication to fostering inclusive environments. Moreover, her leadership serving as President for a professional higher education association, showcases her ability to lead boards, enhance organizational efficiency, and drive strategic initiatives. 
In addition to her professional association board service, Veronica is a avid community advocate and board member of the Community Action Development Bethlehem - a social service organization that prioritizes community engagement, housing equity and political awareness and involvement. She can often be found giving voice to those who feel silenced through her resilient and perseverant approach and mindset. One of her most valuable accomplishments was being an initiator of a grassroots effort to ensure that after longtime grocer, Ahart, closed down unexpectedly, that city officials did their due diligence to ensure another grocer replaced it. Has it not been for Veronica and other avid community members and residents spoke up, the registered food deserts area would have been occupied by her another self-serving private development initiative. 
Recognized for her outstanding contributions, Veronica has received numerous awards, including a Pennsylvania House of Representatives Women of Excellence Citation, South Bethlehem Historical Society Women of Excellence Award, and the Lehigh Valley Business 40 Under 40 Award. 
She is an entrepreneur of over 10 years and is currently the co-owner of the Taste Smokers a restaurant and event space in South Bethlehem that serves as a vehicles and incubator of social change in the South Bethlehem community. She is also the owner of Brown Skin Plant Mama which focuses on providing access to plant therapy as a personal wellness practice of mental emotional and spiritual enrichment. 
Lastly, Veronica is a children’s book author with a focus on teaching social and emotional learning principles through exposure to gardening and life events. 
She is the wife of her partner Quartez and the mother of their two children Hunter and Gladius.
