Director of Empowerment Center and Development — the primary responsibilities of this full time position are to raise funds for the programs of the YWCA of Bethlehem through grant writing, solicitation of sponsorships, donor cultivation, special events and to handle public relations, manage social media and implement, market and oversee YWCA Empowerment programs and services. The Director of Empowerment Center and Development supervises three employees and is a member of the management team. 5 years of experience in fundraising and programming are required. TechGRYLS Coordinator- Part time position, 20 hours per week, (must be available 1:00 — 5:00, Monday through Thursday), with the YWCA of Bethlehem to manage the TechGYRLS program, a girl’s technology program that is held in the Bethlehem elementary and middle schools during afterschool programming. Responsibilities include hiring, training and supervising TechGYRLS instructors, coordinating field trips and activities, modifying and monitoring program curriculum as needed. Qualifications and requirements: technical ability must know or learn Scratch and Lego Robotics Software. Teaching is a plus. Instructors/Teachers, part-time positions, approximately 4 to 8 hours per week, (must be available between 3:30pm and 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday) with the YWCA of Bethlehem to teach girls enrolled in the TechGYRLs program, a girls’ technology program that is held in Bethlehem elementary and middle schools during after school programming. Training will be provided. These are part-time positions – perfect for a college students looking to gain experience in a variety of fields (education, non-profits, technology, etc) or teachers, or retired teachers looking for additional work or an interest in teaching or mentoring young girls.  Must possess technical ability, be able to operate a computer, learn the software programs, teach and be dependable. Program Assistant, Adult Day Services Center. The YWCA of Bethlehem seeks PT Program Assistant to work in our Adult Day Care Center.  Responsibilities include performing client care which includes assisting clients with feeding, bathroom, personal hygiene, helping set up and serve meals, and assisting clients with crafts and games. The position is part-time, 20 hours a week – 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Training will be provided. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.  Experience with geriatric population preferred.  All employees and applicants of the YWCA of Bethlehem must pass a criminal background check.  EOE.
