Announcing Week Without Violence

For more than 20 years, YWCA USA has set aside one week in October for Week Without Violence, part of a global movement to end violence against women and girls with the World YWCA. This year, Week Without Violence will take place from October 16 – 20 with a focus on ending gender-based violence. Gender-based violence recognizes a spectrum of violence, including but not limited to, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and harassment.

YWCA Bethlehem will host a series of events to raise awareness about gender-based violence and to encourage personal action to help end gender-based violence in the Lehigh Valley.  All events are free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted with gratitude.  Online registration can be found by clicking here.
